You can become a novice boxing manager and have something to prove. Strategies and tactics can make or break a fight. It’s important to understand your opponent and their respective combatants in order to develop the best fighting strategy. Your boxer will be able to move up in their weight divisions and eventually compete for the world championship belt.
The boxing world can be slippery. Losing a bout will slow down your ability to challenge other fighters, thereby reducing your potential to win and giving rise to promising new stars. Boxers who sustain injuries during an attack will have a lower level of fitness. They will not be as effective in their next bout unless they are given the chance to recover and rest. You might lose weight if you take revenge on boxers who are trying to hurt your cause.
Different boxers reach their peak at different stages in their careers. As time goes by, your fighters will become less skilled and will lose their competitive edge. You will face new, younger opponents who will challenge you. Older, more experienced fighters will continue to fight for your supremacy, eager to prove they still have it.
It is not always easy to find the path to glory. You have to decide how you build your fighters’ careers. Do you rush them up the ranks, challenging as many people as possible? Or do you prefer a more steady approach that builds your fighter’s skills through more fights? Are you more drawn to the explosive punch exchanges in the lower weight divisions than the gritty power of the heavy ones? Do you want to dominate one weight division for a decade or shift your fighters around, trying to capture as many titles as you can before their skills start to decline? Are you willing to let your fighters retire unbeaten at their peak or will you continue to push them for another chance at the big-time long after their skills have diminished?
