Two clicks and your phone can be teleported to any location in the world! This app creates a fake GPS location so that every other app on your smartphone believes you’re there.
Tasker support is available and can be initiated/stopped via the command line (see FAQ for more details).
+++IMPORTANT+++
FakeGPS can cause your location to be locked to the last mocked location event after you uninstall FakeGPS.
This is not a problem and your GPS sensor doesn’t need to be repaired. This issue can be fixed in two ways:
1. You can download “GPS Status” on the Play and launch it to get a new GPS fix. It is possible to repeat the process several times at 30-minute intervals.
2. FakeGPS is a tool that allows you to set your location and then leave it there for several hours.
These steps can be combined. You will see the issue disappear within a few days. Be patient.
You can mock locations on ROOTED devices without having to enable the “Allow mock places” option. To do so, please use Root Explorer or other similar app and move /data/app/ru.lexa.fakegps~1.apk to /system/private-app or to /system/app (for Android 4.3 and older). Next, change the permissions for aPK to rw.r-r. Finally, reboot your device. If apks in /system/private app disappear after rebooting, it is possible that your device has SON mode enabled. This restores the /system folder following each reboot. For instructions on how to change your device to SOFF mode, please search Google.
If you can’t find ru.lexa.fakegps.apk in /data/app, you may find it at /mnt/asec/ru.lexa.fakegps/1.apk. In this case, you should copy and rename it to /system/priv-app/ru.lexa.fakegps.apk.
