DiskDigger Pro (for rooted devices!) DiskDigger Pro (for rooted devices!) can undelete or recover deleted photos, documents and videos. DiskDigger’s powerful data retrieval tools can locate your files and allow you to restore them, regardless of whether you have accidentally deleted or formatted your card. The app cannot scan deleted photos if the device isn’t rooted. Rooting your device is required to search other files and access the entire internal memory. The app cannot retrieve lower-resolution photos from your device’s cache or thumbnail directories if it isn’t rooted.
Once the scan is completed, tap the “Clean Up” button to delete all items that you don’t need. This feature is currently experimental and only available in the Basic Scan.
To erase any files that have been deleted, you can also use “Wipe Free Space” to clear out all remaining space.
