The definitive CHRONO TRIGGER version has been upgraded with new controls and graphics. The mysterious ‘Dimensional Vortex dungeon’ and the lost ‘Lost Sanctum dungeon will complete your adventure. You may uncover long-forgotten secrets if you meet the challenges.
Story:
Crono meets Marle through chance during Guardia’s Millennial Fair. They decide to explore the fair together and soon discover they are at the Telepod exhibition, which was created by Crono’s friend Lucca. Marle is fearless and full of curiosity. Unexpectedly, though, a malfunction sends Marle hurtling through a rift between the dimensions. Crono follows the girl in pursuit, taking hold of her pendant. The world in which he emerges is actually one from four centuries ago. You will travel to the past, distant future, and the End of Time. This epic effort to save the future of a planet is once again making history.

You can still enter commands during battle. As time passes, the positions of your enemies will change. You can choose to act based on each situation.
Combinations and moves that are ‘Tech’
You can use special “Tech” moves to attack your opponent. Characters can also combine these abilities to create new combo attacks. You can create over 50 different combos with just two or three characters.
The ‘Dimensional Vortex and the Lost Sanctum’ Dungeons are available to you.
The Dimensional Vortex, a mysterious and ever-changing dungeon that exists outside of time and space, is the Dimensional Vortex. You will find many wonders at its center. These chambers are hidden behind the Lost Sanctum, which is a series of mysterious gates that were built in prehistoric and medieval times. You may uncover long-lost secrets if you meet the challenges.
Sound and graphics
The graphics are updated with higher resolution, while keeping the original atmosphere. All songs have been updated to provide a more immersive gaming experience, thanks to Yasunori Mitsuda as composer.
